    • John Campbell, of Auchreoch, the founder of the House of Lawers, was fourth son of Sir Colin Campbell, 1st of Glenorchy, by his third marriage to Margaret, daughter of Luke Stirling, of Ratherns and Keir, and obtained the lands of Auchreoch on Lochtayside from his father. He had a charter for the lands of Schian, in Glenquoich, from his brother Sir Duncan Campbell of Glenorchy on 16 April, 1513, m. firstly to Agnes, daughter of Sir John Moncrieff, of that Ilk, and had issue ; and secondly to Christian Ogilvy, (she m. secondly to Sir Patrick Hepburn, 1st of Beinstoun, and had issue). He was killed at the battle of Flodden 9 September, 1513.
