Notes

The apparent son of Hugh CAMPBELL (1734-1813) was Hugh CAMPBELL of Barquharrie. He was Captain in the 85th Regiment. He married in 1797 to Sophia BARBER, youngest daughter of Thomas BARBER of Greaseley, Nottinghamshire. He died 3 Jan 1824. His widow died at the Park, Nottingham on 20 Jan 1860, aged 85. Their children were:
