  David Arathoon writes: Catherine Pascoe is from a long line of Cornish people back to a "Pascoe Trevassack" in the1500's. I have exhausted the Pascoe tree and worked on them since the 1970's. Thankfully another distant cousin William H. Pascoe wrote a book "Pascoes all over the World" which illustrated a good deal of this family. She was the daughter of Capt James Pascoe Esq and Nicholina Elizabeth Crozier, 3rd cousin to explorer Francis Rawdon Moira Crozier (1796-1848).
