    • He appears as a witness of a donation by James, the High Steward, to the Abbey of Paisley in 1288. In 1292 he was one of the nominees on the part of Bruce in his competition with Baliol. In 1296 he swore fealty to King Edward, and in 1297 he was murdered by the English garrison at Ayr. By Cecilia, his wife, he left two sons
