    • The relationship of John Logan Campbell with Opetaua is Maori legend. I have not been able to cooraborate this relationship via primary sources. Supposedly, this relationship occured while John Logan Campbell lived in Taranaki. Taranaki is a region in the west of New Zealand's North Island.
